about

Tribe of One Love is a growing community devoted to living with love, joy, and higher consciousness as our compass. What began as a local circle in Minneapolis–St. Paul is now expanding through new global gatherings—reaching out to the world one conversation, one connection, and one act of love at a time.

Each week, we gather—both in person and online—for collaborative conversations that spark healing, insight, and growth. We also host special gatherings within our Twin Cities community, such as The Bonfire—a storytelling night that sparks reflection, joy, and belonging.

We are an inclusive, nonpartisan, and non-denominational space where people from all walks of life are welcome. Every voice is valued. Every soul belongs. Together, we rise in love.

PRACTICE A CULTURE OF COMMUNITY LEARNING

We acknowledge our connected paths in this unique time and place to learn from one another. We do not seek a guru; rather, we are all students and teachers contributing to our collective awakening. When we rely upon the inner wisdom of love, we help each other transform families, relationships, and communities.

HELP THE COMMUNITY SHIFT TO THE EMBODIMENT OF LOVE

Our community gatherings are meant to strengthen the bonds and quality of connection with one another. As we shift from a consciousness of separateness to an acknowledgement of our oneness, we experience more miracles of joy and meaning. Together, let's honor that which transcends and unites us as one.

SUPPORT ARTISTS & CONTENT CREATORS TO PROMOTE LOVE

Artists such as musicians, poets, actors, and script writers are gifted to creatively promote the message of love . We support and promote artists to develop their gifts for the purpose of spreading the transformative and miraculous power of love. Creative expression helps us heal the loss of connection with our spiritual and emotional selves.

COMMUNITY INTENTIONS

Why This Community Exists

Tribe of One Love exists to help us remember and practice what it means to live from our shared humanity. We are devoted to expanding our capacity to practice love—not as an idea or sentiment, but as a lived, embodied way of relating to ourselves, one another, and the world.

In doing so, we seek to nurture meaningful connection, personal and collective healing, and lives oriented toward dignity, care, and wholeness.

Our Intention: Unity, Support, and Belonging

We gather because it matters to be together.

Tribe of One Love exists as a place where people can enjoy one another through shared humanity—where connection, warmth, and presence are valued, and where no one has to prove, perform, or belong through agreement.

Our intention is to create a space where people feel supported as they are, where listening and care come naturally, and where belonging is something that’s lived and felt, not earned or debated. We come together to be human with one another, to share honestly, and to experience what it feels like to be met with dignity and respect.

Unity here does not mean sameness. It means choosing connection, curiosity, and care—even across difference. In a world that often pulls us toward separation, this community exists to offer something simpler and more nourishing: a place to be together, to be supported, and to belong.

What We Are Practicing: Unconditional Embodied Love

Unconditional Love

Unconditional love is a posture and a choice to honor the inherent dignity of every human being. It does not require agreement, self-sacrifice, tolerance of harm, or staying in unsafe relationships. Worth is never revoked, even when boundaries or distance are necessary.

Unconditional love also honors sovereignty—love cannot be forced or imposed.

Embodied Love

Embodied love is love that shows up in real life—through presence, action, and boundaries. Love that remains only abstract, intellectual, or verbal does not support flourishing.

How This Is Practiced Together

Tribe of One Love is an intentional relational container.

When you enter the spaces of our gatherings, you are stepping into a shared relational environment intentionally shaped by care, attentiveness, and mutual support. We gather to learn from one another through lived experience and to practice unconditional, embodied love in everyday relationships. By how we show up with one another, we seek to embody the change we hope to see in the world. These gatherings are intended for meaningful growth and transformation that improves the quality of our inner and outer lives.

We walk alongside one another in a life-giving way. We listen with care, reflect together, and offer insight grounded in lived experience. We are not here to persuade, fix, convert, or sort people into “us” and “them,” nor to tell others how they should live. We trust each person’s agency and inner wisdom.

Because we create spaces together, each of us carries a responsibility to practice mutual respect, discernment, and care in how we speak and how we show up. What each person brings through their words, tone, energy, and way of being directly affects how supported and safe others feel here.

When these spaces are held well, people feel seen, respected, and supported in a community where belonging is lived and felt. Many leave with greater clarity, insight, and a deeper sense of empowerment that can be carried into their lives and relationships.

If this feels supportive, you are welcome to participate.

If it feels constraining, this community may not be the right fit for you.

community guidelines

We are perfectly imperfect humans, practicing love together. These guidelines are not standards of perfection, but invitations to practice with intention and care.

  • We are rooted in love, curiosity, and growth. We’re here to reflect, share, and expand our awareness together—rather than debate, persuade, or convert. We prioritize presence and experiential learning.

  • We are here to practice unity through shared humanity. We aim for connection, not correction. We choose language and ways of relating that support understanding, and we avoid us-vs-them framing or language that dehumanizes, morally sorts, or pressures others into positions.

  • We are a nonpartisan, non-denominational space. People from all walks of life are welcome. Personal lived experiences may include religion or politics, but no ideology—religious, political, partisan, or otherwise—should be promoted or belittled. These topics are outside the scope of our space, as we prioritize shared humanity over division.

  • We show up as both teachers and students. We look forward to hearing a diversity of reflections, reactions, and perspectives. Take in what resonates and release what doesn’t. We value spaciousness—pausing, listening, and allowing insight to unfold organically.

  • Speak from personal experience. Use “I” language. Share what’s true for you without trying to fix, assume, advise, or preach—unless invited. Frame your perspective as your lived experience rather than presenting opinions as universal truth. This leaves room for others to share theirs.

  • Avoid assumptions. Don’t assume others share your background, values, or beliefs. Our diversity is a strength. Speaking as if we all think alike can make others feel excluded or unsafe.

  • Honor the complexity of healing. Healing is nuanced, layered, and deeply personal. With a trauma-informed lens, we recognize it unfolds across emotional, relational, and biological dimensions. We avoid one-size-fits-all paths or formulaic solutions. Go at your own pace, guided by your inner compass.

  • You are welcome to bring your real experiences—with purpose. If you’ve ever felt unseen, misunderstood, or worn down by life and the state of the world, you are not alone. Bring what’s real in the spirit of healing and learning. We name pain not to vent or complain without direction, but to seek clarity, understanding, and transformation.

  • Practice equity of voice. Be mindful of how much space you’re holding. If you speak often, consider stepping back. If you’re usually quiet, know your voice matters—we’d love to hear from you.

  • Welcome disagreements as part of growth. When conflict or misunderstanding arises, we pause and acknowledge what others are sharing. We respond with curiosity rather than certainty, take responsibility for our own reactions and feelings, and practice repair.

  • Let our space ripple outward. What’s learned here, we hope transforms not only ourselves, but our families, communities, and beyond. Our space is sacred—not because it is perfect, but because we hold it together.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

"The seeds of Tribe of One Love were planted in me during a time of deep separation and loss—through the isolation of COVID, the passing of my mother to cancer, the death of George Floyd on my birthday just miles from my birthplace, and the destruction and burning of Minneapolis and St. Paul during the protests and riots that followed.

The world seemed to be moving in the wrong direction, and I was wrestling with my own unhappiness—feeling crippled by failed relationships, bad choices, and a deep sense of guilt and shame. Then came two life-transforming dreams about forgiveness and love. They became a turning point, giving me the courage to reorient my life around love—not as an abstract idea, but as a daily practice of how to live, lead, and respond.

In 2022, I began by offering community events in Minneapolis to foster reconnection, healing, and transformation. The path wasn’t clear, but I moved forward anyway. Over time, I discovered that even imperfect acts of love carry power—and with them, new possibilities begin to open.

Tribe of One Love is now thriving as a living dedication to placing love at the center of all things—born from a deep desire for people to experience a higher love and co-create a new reality in our families, our communities, and beyond.

I humbly invite you to join us."
